W Homes of Ohio, LLC is a family-owned residential construction company built on decades of hands-on
experience, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for quality homebuilding. Owned and operated by Gayle
and Scott Willis, the company brings generations of construction knowledge to every home they build,
whether in established subdivisions or on a client’s privately owned lot or land—giving homeowners the
flexibility to build where it best fits their vision and lifestyle.
Homebuilding has always been part of Gayle’s family history. Her father owned a large plumbing
business and was involved in building, remodeling, and land development, while her brother became a
well-established builder. Scott began his career working for Gayle’s father, starting, as he says, “in the
ditch.” Through hard work and dedication, he became a licensed plumber and went on to build
single-family homes throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, primarily in Butler and Warren Counties,
while also gaining hands-on experience in land development.
What began as building homes for themselves eventually grew into residential construction companies
that collectively built close to 700 homes from the late 1980s through the mid-2000s. Throughout that
time, quality workmanship and attention to detail were always the top priority.
In 2016, Gayle and Scott began development of a 67-unit attached townhome community in West
Chester, successfully completing the project in 2021. In 2022, they founded W Homes of Ohio, LLC to
return to building single-family homes, bringing with them decades of experience and a hands-on
approach that sets them apart.
Gayle’s role in the business began with bookkeeping but has evolved into full project management.
Today, she works closely with each homeowner, guiding them from the initial vision of their home
through selections, construction, and final completion. One of her favorite responsibilities is staying
connected with clients throughout the entire building process and delivering a finished home that
reflects their dream.
W Homes of Ohio, LLC takes pride in using the same quality materials and trusted subcontractors that
Gayle and Scott choose for their own homes—nine and counting. Their most recent personal project
involved the complete renovation of a 1957 home, further expanding the company’s expertise to include
renovation and remodeling services in addition to new construction.
Every home built by W Homes of Ohio, LLC complies fully with the Ohio Building Code and all local
jurisdiction requirements. The company is also a proud member of The Greater Cincinnati Home
Builders Association, reflecting its ongoing commitment to professionalism, integrity, and excellence in
homebuilding.
